Finally turning 20, Park Jimin is a blind student looking to move forward in life. The boy across the street, Min Yoongi, is his caretaker and best friend. But Yoongi wants to do much more for Jimin than just walk him to and from his place. So when an opportunity comes for Jimin to finally recover his vision, it’s Yoongi’s turn to really show that he’s willing to do anything for his most precious person.

“Thanks again for walking me, hyung.” Jimin said as he let out his visible breath in the cold.

“You don’t have to keep thanking me. I do this all the time, and I want to keep doing it.” Yoongi responded

Jimin laughed then let out a little smile. “Ah ok, hyung. I don’t want to bother you so much, that’s why.”
Yoongi’s hand ruffled the hair on his brown head and gave him a little push so he would to step into the doorway.

“I’m coming in with you.”He said without warning.

Jimin quickly got started. “Eh? Why? I don’t need anything anymore, really. I can walk around my own place.” The bag that hung on his shoulder made a noise as it dropped to the floor, also courtesy of Yoongi’s hand.

They stepped carefully into the living room to the sofa. Jimin always had a stiff pose on the chair since he didn’t know how far it leaned back. Yoongi turned on two of the lanterns in the room. The apartment didn’t need any electricity for obvious reasons.

“Hey don’t sit like that, you’re not in the principal’s office.” Yoongi said as he carefully pushed Jimin’s shoulders so he could relax. It was something he had to get used to after he started taking care of him. At times he would still forget to be gentle because Jimin had absolutely no idea of anything that was around him. He didn’t want to be the cause of him tripping on some train tracks just as the leading car was passing by. “I’ll get you some water too.”

“You’re doing too much, hyung. I can get it just fine too.” Jimin said jolting up as he heard the sound of the faucet.

“I already brought it, here.” He extended his arm so Jimin could feel it. He held on to his pale fingers then found grip of the glass. Yoongi thought it was cute when he did that. Jimin leaned back with both hands on the glass, his eyes staring straight ahead without moving. Yoongi sat down next to him too, moving the couch pillows out of the way, but grabbing one for his lap. The lantern lights started getting a little brighter.

“Did you feel okay today?” Yoongi asked

“Why that question?”Jimin smiled, still confused. “It was a normal day I guess. It’s getting colder now, but I’m glad you called me so I could put my jacket on.”

“No... I mean, did anything interesting happen today?” Yoongi wasn’t good asking these roundabout questions.

“Nothing besides that assignment for my literature class. My counselor meeting went well too. I got a lot of nice snacks from the noonas ;D.” He didn’t know what else to add so he took a sip from his glass.

“Jiminie, you always tell me a good story from those loud kids in the seminar. Nothing happened with them today?”

“Oh, Taehyung and Hobi hyung didn’t attend today... They said they wanted to visit another seminar for a friend.” Jimin sounded too humble. It made Yoongi feel more uneasy.

He wasn’t taking this anymore. “I’m not making an angry face right now, and more importantly you don’t have to lie to me, okay.”

“Huh? Wait, hyung-”

“You didn’t see Taehyung and Hoseok because you didn’t got to the seminar right? I tried looking for you but they said you got excused out. You didn’t answer your phone either.” The seriousness in his tone made Jimin gulp a little.

“I really trust you, hyung, but I’m already so much of a burden. I needed to-”

“I know already. I talked to your counselor, actually... I mean, I can understand why you were quiet about it for a while, but it got me worried, ya know?”

“Oh, she told you? I wanted to tell you soon too, but I think I waited too long. I’m sorry hyung...”

There was a pause. Jimin tried to wipe the sweat off his hands using the cushion nonchalantly.

“....Uh, when did you know?” Yoongi started.

Jimin got surprised again. “Ah, it was last week. The day you came back from your weekend at Daegu. I stayed the whole day at the clinic; that’s when they told me-”

“-that you could see again?” Yoongi interrupted.

“Yeah,” Another little smirk. “ I was really surprised, but I didn’t know what to respond back.”Jimin’s head completely leaned back to face the ceiling. “Then I came back with Mirae. she’s always nice to give me a ride home.”

“So what are you planning to do about it?” He faced back at Jimin even though he couldn’t notice him. He was just fine with it.

“I don’t really know yet. That’s why I’ve been talking with my counselor a lot more. I don’t know anything about this type of thing, and I didn’t want to just make a decision that fast. You know I’m very undecided, hyung. The doctors say I’m qualified and all, and its 79% chance of the whole operation working. I want to consider it, and yet it’s kinda hard to.”

“But didn’t you always say you wanted to see the leaves in the fall? And how the campus lights lit up during the winter?”

“Of course I do! But that’s not the thing. I mean, I’ve been blind all my life, and this is something really big.” He fidgeted with his fingers. “I’m not even sure myself. I think I’m just nervous about having everything change so suddenly... umm... My counselor says it’s a good thing too, and it’s not going to be expensive to cover either.”

Yoongi let his grip off the pillow and leaned back at the ceiling too. He didn’t respond for a while. The sound of their noses breathing was sort of calming. Jimin licked his lips. Yoongi noticed they had gotten chapped on the corners.

He exhaled. “You’re a scaredy cat right?”

“I’m not as scared of things like Hobi.” Jimin snickered. The atmosphere wasn’t feeling as tense anymore. Yoongi always knew how to make Jimin feel at ease.

“Hey...” Yoongi’s voice got somehow quiet. “I think you’ll be alright whatever you decide. I’ll still be here to walk you anywhere you want cuz I’m not a fake hyung.”

“Thanks, hyung. I never thought you were fake though.”Jimin let out a breath that seemed like he’d been holding for a long time and closed his eyes at the ceiling.

“This is nothing. This is a little thing ok. Also, don’t rush into things like you tend to do too. It’s always too slow or too fast with you, I don’t get it.” Yoongi laughed for the first time in the day. Jimin only responded with another smile which made his eyelids squish together. Yoongi liked that part of him too.

“Don’t fall asleep you idiot. Common, I’ll help you do your homework or whatever you have to braille.”

 - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

The two boys sat at Jimin’s bed with papers scattered everywhere. Jimin was already spread across the edge of the comforter not even trying to finish his last bit of script on the braille writer. Yoongi spread his fingers across one of the sheets, not understand a single thing each dent meant.

“Hyung~ I want to sleep already~~ I can finish this laterrr.” Jimin whined as he stretched himself, nearly falling off
.
“You haven’t even read these lines to me. You’re way to lazy at doing your own work, and then you blame me. We have to finish these right now, then you can sleep your ass off.”

Jimin suddenly stood up, knowing he couldn’t win to Yoongi. “Fine I’ll read them to you. Where’s your arm?” Jimin snaked his palm on the covers trying to feel for the other’s hand.

“Hey wait-” Yoongi said as he got half of his hand tugged away by Jimin. He leaned in close to his shoulder and pointed two of his fingers at the embossed paper with his own hand on top.

Jimin started reading, but Yoongi couldn’t listen to anything he was saying with his body being pressed this close and his hand leading his fingers through the braille. He spoke softly too. Yoongi quickly noticed Jimin’s throat was just a bit sore after a little while. It was probably because of how chilly it had been when they were walking back. It made him realize how many other little things he could care for.

“There. It already looks good if I finish it like that. If the professor says I need more I’ll just work on it afterwards. I’m sleepy hyung~~” He hopped back to his position spread on the bed which threw Yoongi off since he was still in his little zone, not even paying attention to what was happening.

“Yeah, let’s sleep already. I think it was nice ending for it.”

“Are you ok going back, hyung?” A yawn began to come out of Jimin as he scratched the back of his head.

Yoongi thought heading back to his place, but he didn’t want to. Just looking at Jimin’s baby face made him feel much better. It made him want to take care him for a long time.

“You’re okay if I stay right? All the hall and street lights turned off, it would be hard to cross.”

“Oh, if you want. I have a lot of blankets...” Jimin’s eyes were already closed, ready to doze off on his pillow.

Yoongi stared back at him again, smiling and wondering what his life would’ve been if he didn’t have Jimin close. “I’m cool like this.” He said, not trying to disturb Jimin.

He moved all the papers to the desk and Jimin’s writer underneath the small table to the side of the bed. Yoongi shifted himself so he would be next to Jimin. It was a rather large bed for just a small person like him. He covered Jimin with the blanket then brushed his bangs away from his nose. It would be such a great thing is he could look at Jimin this way everyday. He had become so dependent on Yoongi after all this time. Yoongi still remembers when he tried to do everything by himself, but he was so clumsy at everything he tried to do, how could he not go and offer him help.

Yoongi was definitely thinking deep about this, and he wanted to be there with Jimin for anything that happened. Especially now that this life-changing opportunity was presenting itself at him out of nowhere.

Jimin was starting to hug at his pillow while his face stayed buried on its side. Yoongi felt his eyes getting heavier at this point too.

He got a little closer and whispered, “I should move in with you Jimin.”

Not even conscious of what Yoongi was saying, Jimin gave him a bear hug making his pillow squish against the other’s shoulder.

“Okay, hyung.”

Jimin’s body fell down with a thud as he tripped on the last box that was sitting at his door’s threshold.

“Oh Jimin! Are you ok?!” Yoongi rushed from the balcony to pick him up.

He rubbed his forehead trying to gain balance again. “Yeah. I thought I had already moved all the little boxes from the front. Sorry hyung.”

“I swear you keep apologizing for everything. It’s fine.”

“I can’t help it! I’m sorry, hyu- I mean... damn it.” He looked extremely guilty and small when he pouted. Yoongi wondered if Jimin knew just how adorable he really was.

“Hehehe. You’re gonna be okay now. I won’t let you trip on anything else while I’m here.” Yoongi said, trying to make Jimin face him.

“Honestly, this whole moving in thing... it’s happening so fast, hyung. I don’t even remember you asking me the first time.”

“Of course I did, three days ago. And you clearly said it was okay back.”

“Ehh... but I was probably doing something else,”

Yeah you were sleeping like a baby, Yoongi thought .

“Besides that... I’m actually kinda happy that you wanted to move in. Most of the time I don’t really know what to do just walking around all this open space.”
“Yeah, my place is pretty empty too. I used to have a roommate, but he left to live with his girlfriend last year.” Yoongi responded as he closed the door and brought the box onto the counter.

Jimin walked steadily toward kitchen too and tried to feel for the boxes with his small hands grazing everything he passed by. Yoongi was already trying to organize things out of all the boxes and trying to keep an eye on Jimin at the same time.

“Hyung, I want to help too. How many boxes did you bring in?”

“It’s not that much. I actually just gave away most of the things I didn’t need from my place. You can sit down for now. I’ll get all this sorted out.”

“That’s not fair. I want to help organize too. You’re always doing everything for me. I may be blind but I’m already 20 and I can get stuff done okay?”

Yoongi laughed, but it made him glad that Jimin wanted to do things on his own too. Sometimes being blind everyone makes assumptions that you can’t do anything without someone’s help. Yoongi didn’t want for Jimin to think he thought that way about him too. He was so good

“Okay, you win. I’m just unpacking the largest box here. It’s mostly all my electronic stuff and my video games. Come here, I’m to your right.” He grabbed onto Jimin’s hand again trying to lead him the way around the box.

Both of them crouched down to start getting Yoongi’s stuff out of the box. Jimin’s hands ruffled around everything, again trying to make sense of what was inside. It went like this for almost every other box. As they arranged everything in the living room and the closets, their place wasn’t looking as pale as before. Something about combining their own space made Yoongi feel like he was filling an empty void. This was a good thing; for him and for Jimin.

Now there was only a bunch of thrown boxes on the floor. “I’ll throw all this away, just wait for me here, Jiminie.”

“Ok, I’m still fixing the drawers.” Yoongi heard Jimin’s voice say from the back.

When he came back he noticed Jimin trying to order his clothes on the hangers. He was holding on to one of his thin jackets; the black one with gray print on the sleeves. Jimin put it to his face to feel the material. It smelled nice too. Jimin liked Yoongi’s scent since it usually smelled like subtle detergent and his cotton candy deodorant combined. It was really unique compared to everyone else he knew.

“Are you trying to taste the sweetness in my jacket or what?”he blurted out, bringing Jimin out of his little world again.

“Hyung, you should say something before you come in! I almost got scared.”

“You only need to hang two more, stop daydreaming about me, you.” Honestly Yoongi never felt so at ease when he was with Jimin. He wasn’t even that much older in reality, but he couldn’t help not calling him a kid when all he did was act like one whenever their favorite song came on.

“There, I’m done. You didn’t secretly help me did you hyung?”

“Of course I didn’t.” Yoongi lied as he picked up one of the shirts that had fallen on the floor.

“Hey hyung, I barely thought about this but where are you going to sleep? I only have one bed, and the sofa doesn’t feel like it’ll be enough space. I should’ve brought in another comforter for you but-”

“Don’t worry about that, I’ll just sleep on the bed with you.”

Jimin instantly blushed. “Wait, what? Are you sure about that hyung?! I mean, won’t you be squished and uncomfortable? What if you fall off?”

“Hahaha, why would I fall? Your bed is actually huge if you didn’t know. You didn’t seem to mind the other night when you were using me as a pillow.” Immediately Yoongi regretted what he just said.

“When did I ever do that?!? I don’t even remember sleeping with you either. You’re making up stories again...”

“Oh, I guess I am.” Phew, he played it off well. “Anyways, I’ll be fine on your bed. You should be the one to watch out or I might kick you off the edge.”

They laughed together now. Even though the day was almost over, it felt like it had only been a few hours. The sun’s orange tinted light came in through the large window, blinding Yoongi. He wondered if Jimin ever got that sort of feeling. Even though he kept his eyes open when he was awake, it was impossible to tell if anything really happened in there. Jimin’s eyes were a very light brown. When the light reflected on them, they looked like embers with spinning lights like clockwork.

This was just one of the many things Jimin could finally see if he wanted to. He could finally see Yoongi for the first time too. Not just feel his face and his hair to make out some sort of image. There were so many things, an infinite amount. It was too overwhelming for him to think about. Even though they were so close, there was a still a large gap separating them. Yoongi couldn’t even begin to imagine what the world was like for Jimin, and vice versa. They couldn’t really understand each other at a deeper level.

Something still felt off. What if Jimin did decide to get the operation? Would he even adjust to it? Twenty years without light , there’s no way he could take it all in that quickly. What if he drifted apart from Yoongi? What if he decided to move away to experience “everything new”. No, he didn’t want that to change. He wanted to be able to look at Jimin’s face every morning.

Agh! Why am I thinking too much? Jimin is too innocent to be like that. Now there was two of them that wasn’t feeling so sure. Everything had gotten so complicated now. All these new feelings springing up inside Yoongi. He hated it.

“Hyung....” Jimin suddenly spoke.

“Huh?”

“I thought you had left for a second. I just wanted to say I’m really glad. I mean I’m, I’m really just so happy. Thanks for sticking by me this whole time.”

“Heh, you say that now? I think I deserve a thank you every morning when I wake up. You’re gonna love learning how to make bulgogi for me now.”

“I knew you’d say something like that.”A small giggle came out Jimin’s lips.

Yoongi walked over to him and wrapped his arm around his head. “Hey I’m just kidding again. Unless you want me to teach you. I’m gonna make you learn lots of new things from now on.”

“You said that a lot of times, hyung.”

“It’s so you won’t forget me.”

Jimin laughed so naturally at that. “Why would I ever forget you? You can’t let me be.”

“Just don’t change ok Jiminie?”

Jimin paused for a moment. He suddenly grasped what was going on.

“It’s because of the thing right? You don’t have to think about it like that... I’m still going to be the same Jimin. I promise that, hyung.”

“So you do want to go through with it?” Yoongi went right ahead and asked. He felt Jimin jolt just a bit.

“I’ve thought about more, yeah. Honestly I’m still not 100%. I don’t know what will happen.”

“I think... you should just go with your gut. If it feels right then it’ll be for the best.”

“You really think so?”

“Yeah. You know I’m gonna promise you something too. I’ll do whatever you want me to do for you from now on. I’m going to be your right hand. I mean at everything. Even if the whole operation thing doesn’t work, I’m gonna make it so it feels like it did. Jimin, I’m gonna be your field of vision. I won’t take no for an answer”

Jimin started getting tense all of a sudden. Like he’d just been confessed to. Of all things to say, Yoongi promised he would stay with him no matter what. Did this mean like, forever? A year, a decade, a lifetime? He felt overwhelmed by it and felt his eyes getting watery.

“Hey, hey are you crying? Honestly? Jimin.”

“Hah, sorry I didn’t want to but it just came out. I’m not crying I swear.”He wiped his eyes as fast as he could. “I just can’t stop being happy. I’m so glad my cheeks hurt. Thanks hyung. No one’s ever said that to me before.”

Yoongi unexpectedly got a little red too. He didn’t realize that what he had said was really a lot. His world was changing so much faster than he’d anticipated. But this was a good thing. He wanted to be honest. His promise wasn’t thought out, but that’s what made it perfect, and true. Yoongi really would do anything for his most precious person, and that was because his most precious person was also the one he happened to love.

There was still a lingering silence until Yoongi finally took Jimin by the hand, being careful not to scare him another time. Jimin’s eyes were still shining, keeping his stare straight ahead while Yoongi took a pinky and locked it with his.

“Jimin, you and I, we’re going to be just fine.”

And he smiled.

“Jiminie! I’m back why is the door open?”

“Oh Yoongi! I messed up sorry! I need help!”

The shadow of Yoongi’s blonde head became a blur as he dashed inside a cloud of white steam coming from the kitchen.

“What is this?! What the hell?” he said coughing and trying to fan everything out.

Jimin’s hands tapped across the hallway walls as he came into the scene too, not knowing where to (not) look.

“Wait hyung I got this. Don’t move” his small hands swung into the air and water came out splashing dead straight at Yoongi’s crouched body.

 - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Yoongi wiped a towel across his neck.“Ok we can agree that’ll never happen again right?”

Jimin tried to help him dry, but he was bad at aiming for the head. “Yeah... I’m so sorry I didn’t know you’d be right there.”

“I’m sure I heard you the first hundred times right after you did it.” he responded sarcastically. “What were you even thinking trying to do something like that just a day before your surgery? You could’ve called me right after you realized the oven started going off.”

“I know I know, but I wanted to surprise you with my baking skills. I was trying to make cupcakes like one of the noonas at counseling showed me, but I didn’t really think about how long to leave the oven for preheat.”

“It was at 314° C Jimin. That wasn’t anywhere near a preheat. It was getting ready to summon a demon.”

“I’m bad at thinking properly. I really thought I could handle all the buttons after you showed me where they were. I won’t try to do it again, I swear.”

“Hey don’t get all guilty on me too. I just want you to be safe is all... Anyways you looked really cute with that uneven apron on you.”

“Un..uneven...?” Jimin was already too embarrassed for Yoongi to be telling him this. “You do this on purpose don’t you? I’m trying my best here.”

“I already know that. You’re really cute when you try to fight back.”

“I’m not cute. Stop saying that.” Jimin said looking even more adorable.

“Yeah you are, you just don't see it. Yet.” Yoongi chuckled. Drops of water falling from the tips of his hair. “Common we can still make that stuff you wanted. The cupcakes or whatever. I was craving to have something sweet all the way back here.”

“But.. Are you sure hyung?” There was that nice ring to Jimin’s voice, Yoongi was enjoying seeing him this vulnerable and cute. He ruffled his hair and then taped the dome of his head.

“Yes. I’m not angry, sheesh. You don’t have to get like this every single time something happens. Park Jimin you’re way too innocent for your own good.”

“You’re not just saying that because I’m blind, right?”

“I’m not.” Yoongi smacked him with the towel. “Seriously we can make them. I brought some shakes from the convenience store we can drink afterwards too.”
“Really? I’ll get the batter again then. Just you do the oven part for me this time”

“Yeah I’m not using that thing for the next month. We’ll bake them on the small toaster. They’ll be crispy at least.”

With that they both stood up and left the room to finish what Jimin had horribly started. This time it came out much better. The warmth coming from the kitchen helped Yoongi feel more cozy in his clothes after being attacked with all that ice cold water. Jimin still bumped into things from time to time, but it was nothing that Yoongi couldn’t lead him out of. There was batter all over their faces once they started fighting over who could eat the leftover mix.

Even though Jimin couldn’t see, Yoongi was still pretty impressed on how far he had gotten with making the cupcakes. He had really learned a lot in just a small period of time. Before, he would often see that there was a lot of packaged or frozen food to just prepare for eating. You’d expect Jimin’s family to actually teach him a thing or two about ingredients even if he wasn’t technically allowed to cook a large meal. Ever since they started living together 6 weeks ago, there was a lot that Jimin began to do on his own. Like memorize the boxes where all his shoes were, and knowing how to work the thermostat in the living room and in the fridge. He thought it would be nice to keep going like this: teaching him how to clean, and work the laundry machine. It didn’t even matter if he could see. Yoongi accepted both possibilities now.

Living with under the same roof slowly took away all those small fears he had inside. The same had happened with Jimin too. The day that he decided that he wanted to go for the surgery was the same day that Yoongi said he wanted to visit the beach and show him the ocean. Jimin had never once been there and it was the thing Yoongi always described the best of all other places. All of those plans they made together was what motivated him to take the initiative. Maybe then they could bring these cupcakes and eat them on the sand. These days already seemed like they were coming soon.

Yoongi stretched faced down on the bed and wrapped half of himself in the blanket. The plate of cupcakes was sitting right in the center of the sheets. They were soft and brightly yellowish. The whipped cream at the top of them looked glossy and delicious, but he wanted to wait for Jimin to come back from his shower.

"I'm here now." The bed creaked slightly as Jimin took his careful leap on it. Yoongi promptly moved the plate so it wouldn't drop all the cupcakes on his knees. Being this gentle came so much more naturally now. Even the littlest details were fixed so that Jimin would have an easier way around the room. There was so much innocence in him, it must be great to be oblivious to literally everything that was constantly happening. That was one of the small the ways Yoongi spoiled him.

His hair was damp, nearly dry. The blankets wrinkled as Jimin tried to wiggle inside them unsuccessfully.

“Did I take too long?”

“Nah, you’re fine. I’m just stretching a bit. I brought the plate here.”

“Oh nice.” Jimin tried to reach for a cupcake, again aiming nowhere near where they actually were.”

Yoongi helped him as usual. “Here, here. They’re right next to your stomach. You got it.” He felt his hand; it was smooth but cold. It felt nice against his warm one.

“I feel it! They’re already chilled!”

Yoongi followed and took one as well. He waited so they could try them together. Jimin first unwrapped a side of it and smelled it. It was a faint vanilla. Then when he took a bite Yoongi caught up and they both tasted it together. The sweetness was subtle and it was much like a dinner bread. The whip on top was much better as it came with it. A dab of it stayed on Jimin’s top lip when he took his bite back. The adorableness was killing Yoongi slowly.

“Heh, you got some on you, Jiminie.” he said with a gentle smile. He quickly reached in his index finger and wiped the dab off his lip; promptly bringing it right back to himself to eat.

Jimin easily got flushed. You’d think it’d be the other way around after living together all this time. “I could’ve gotten that, hyung.” His hand wiped it again. “Why do you always have to be so sly?”

“It’s fun playing with you.” Yoongi said amused.

“I’m gonna get you so many times once I’m able to see.”

“Yeah, you wish you could. I’m just too good, whether you can see me or not.”

“I can’t wait to see you.”

Yoongi laughed nervously. That was such a blunt statement. He got butterflies in his stomach from hearing Jimin say that. He couldn’t wait to see him. He couldn’t wait to see what Yoongi looked like. He didn’t know that was something he needed to hear so badly.

It took him a moment to answer. “I can’t wait either...”

“You’ll be there right?” Jimin went on, unphased.

“Of course I will. I don’t want one of the noonas, or that Tae to be the first person you lay eyes on.”

“What, are you that jealous?” he grinned. “I’ll be the sly one from tomorrow on then.”

“Hah. Just this one time I’ll let you.”

“Hyung, thank you seriously.” The tone in Jimin’s voice sounded sincere.

“You don’t have to thank me for anything. I’m here because that’s what I want.”

“I know, I know, but I’m just too grateful to keep it inside.”

“You know that surgery is gonna go well, I’m sure of it.”

“Hyung, can I hug you?”

Yoongi was already waiting to do just that. He moved the plate again and took Jimin’s cupcake slowly so it wouldn’t fall. The blankets ruffled as he took Jimin’s torso in and he wrapped his arms onto Yoongi’s shoulders nicely. It was the warmest hug they’ve ever shared. Jimin buried his entire face on Yoongi’s chest and he felt the softness of his hair caress his cheek.

“You’re not crying again are you?”

“I’m not.” But really he was holding it in as much as he could. This was supposed to be a happy moment.

This was definitely the last night they would go to bed like this. Every other day after would be different, and full of new things to talk about. It was a little bit sad to think about, but there was much more hope to outweigh it.

It felt like the longest hug ever. Jimin wasn’t sure if it had only been a minute or ten. They separated themselves until Yoongi could see Jimin’s face. “We have to sleep soon, we don’t want to wake up late in the morning.”

“I know, but I want to stay like this.”

“You want to ask for anything else while we’re at it?”

Jimin hugged tighter. He was taking his sweet time to think of something, but Yoongi wasn’t complaining. He missed being like this; sort of like that other night.

“Just tell me something nice so I can fall asleep.” he said with his eyelids already closed.

Everything was so easy. Yoongi couldn’t keep his huge smile under control. He cared for Jimin so much he couldn’t contain it either. It was such a blessing to be where he was at this moment.

He pressed his lips on JImin’s forehead and whispered, “I love you Jimin.”

Jimin didn’t respond. He only kept smiling and pressing himself against Yoongi’s warmth. He got kissed under his right eye, his left, on his nose. Yoongi kept giving him kisses all over his face again and again, and it was just what Jimin needed to feel. It was something beautiful he could’ve never hoped to get.

It was the most beautiful moment in life.

BTS has been consuming me so I wrote this one a week  before Highlight Tour (thanks Carina). Remember I said I'm all about fluff now? This one is basically me throwing up everything I've ever wanted in a fluff fic. Yoonmin is bias couple so it also had to be them. Honestly, writing fics on real people makes me feel guilty, but this one was really fun to write. After anterograde tomorrow I don't think I can look at any M kpop fics.

Anyways I wrote this one as intended one-shot, but I ended up splitting it into three parts on Ao3. I might write an epilogue too since I really love this one a lot.

You guys can talk more kpop to me on twitter #BreadstickARMY
